NCCCO Reaffirms Training/Testing Separation

May 2007 - Effective June 1, 2007, no training may be conducted at any NCCCO test site within one hour of a scheduled written examination.

This requirement, which applies to all NCCCO written test sites nationwide, is designed to reaffirm the separation between the training and testing process, and to avoid interaction on test day between training and testing personnel.

“NCCCO has always placed strong emphasis on the division between training and testing,” said NCCCO Executive Director, Graham Brent.  While NCCCO's strong preference was that no training take place at any time on the day of the test, he said, "this one-hour "buffer" between the two processes will serve to reaffirm NCCCO's position that the two remain entirely separated."

Test Site Coordinators and IAI Chief Examiners were being apprised of the new requirement via email notification, he noted.
