Testing Accommodations Policy
NCCCO is dedicated to a culture of non-discrimination. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities act of 1990, as amended (ADA), it is the policy of NCCCO to accept and process applications for testing accommodations and, when appropriate, to provide testing accommodations to qualifying candidates who demonstrate a need for accommodation due to disability, as defined by the ADA.
In order to apply for accommodations, please download and complete the NCCCO Application for Testing Accommodations (the “Application”).
All Applications must be accompanied by supporting documentation as outlined in the Guidelines for Documenting a Request for Accommodations. Supporting documentation is important to validate that an applicant is covered under the ADA as a disabled individual and to determine the functional limitations, resulting from disability, related to taking NCCCO examinations. As set forth in the Application, if you have been previously approved for accommodations within the last five (5) years, you may qualify for a reduced need for supporting documentation.
Please note that, to protect sensitive and confidential medical information, NCCCO will communicate ONLY with the applicant regarding accommodation requests, unless provided written consent from the applicant to communicate with a third party.
If you have any questions or need clarification regarding this policy, please contact NCCCO’s Program Integrity Coordinator by phone at 801-363-2693 ext. 310, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
